Lemon Grove Little League includes activities such as Opening Day, Team Kickoff Morning, Tee Ball Fun Day, and Clean Up Day. Players take part in Little League player evaluations/assessments, also referred to as tryouts, which include fielding fly balls, fielding ground balls, throwing and pitching, running with peers, and batting and bunting. The program also holds events such as Softball Jamboree, Baseball Jamboree, Softball and Junior Assessments, a Team Parent Meeting, and Cap Day.

Team Kickoff Morning, previously known as Cap Day, is a day where players meet their teammates, coaches, and Team Parent, pick a jersey number, and officially kick off the season. Tee Ball Fun Day includes coaches running basic skills to prep players for the season and is not required. On Cap Day, players find out what team they are on and meet their team, coaches, and Team Parent. Community events connected with Lemon Grove Little League include a Softball Jamboree hosted by Highland Little League, a Baseball Jamboree hosted by District 66, and History Alive presented by Lemon Grove Little League. The league notes “Sixty6ers- SoCal West Region Champs!” as a credential. Information about the T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant is provided through a link to T-Mobile’s form.
