Early Start Adams – Children’s Services (Exceptional Children’s Foundation)

Early Start Adams – Children’s Services (Exceptional Children’s Foundation) is part of the Exceptional Children’s Foundation’s continuum of services for individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs. The program is listed under children’s services in the SHARE Building.

Exceptional Children’s Foundation (ECF) was founded in 1946. The mission of ECF is to provide the highest quality services for children and adults who are challenged with special needs, empowering them to reach their greatest potential. ECF offers a full continuum of lifespan services for children and adults with developmental disabilities and other special needs. ECF currently supports nearly 4,000 children, adults, and their families at 14 service sites, in clients’ homes, and in community settings throughout L.A. County. ECF has earned the highest standard six-year accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. ECF is committed to educating and encouraging the general public and legislators to integrate and include people with developmental, learning and emotional disabilities in all aspects of community life.
