Violet Cooking School offers cooking classes that include hands-on cooking experiences, private events, and team-building cooking classes. The program also offers Single Day Cooking Camp for Kids and Single Day Cooking Camp for Teens, each built around a “Gnocchi Nosh!” Italian cooking day where participants make potato gnocchi from scratch, prepare two sauces, and create a complete Italian-inspired meal from appetizer to dessert.

• Price: Single Day Cooking Camp for Kids (ages 9–12) and Single Day Cooking Camp for Teens (ages 13–17) are each $140 + tax
Chef Jesse Brune serves as Director of Events & Cooking School and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in 2006, has co-starred in Bravo's Workout, Food Network's Private Chefs of Beverly Hills, and OWN's Emmy-winning Home Made Simple, and has led courses at Epicurean Culinary School and The New School of Cooking. Violet Los Angeles founder Dana Slatkin is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley and The Culinary Institute of America and trained with chefs Georges Blanc and Michel Guèrard at their Michelin three-star restaurants in France, patissier Pierre Hermé at Fauchon in Paris, and David Bouley in New York City. The leadership team includes Dana Slatkin (Founder), Holly Delormeau (General Manager), Stella Lee (Assistant General Manager), Max Anderson (Head Chef), Samantha Chihuahua (Sous Chef), and Jesse Brune (Director of Events & Cooking School). Dana Slatkin is also a board member of the Berkeley Food Institute.
