Los Banos Little League offers Little League Baseball, Little League Softball, Tee Ball, coach pitch baseball, kid/coach pitch baseball, and player pitch baseball. More than 400 boys and girls take part in seven different divisions of baseball each season, including Tee Ball, a coach pitch level where no score is kept, an AA kid/coach pitch level where no score is kept, and AAA and Majors divisions that are competitive levels with player pitch and require all players to try out.
• Ages: 4–16 years old
• Schedule: 2026 Spring Season online registration begins in November, evaluations/try-outs take place in late January, teams are formed in mid-February, and games run from early March to late May or early June, followed by TOC / All Star Games from early June through late July.
Since 1969, Los Banos Little League has been an anchor of the Westside community and has been chartered and organized for 50 years under Little League International, Inc. The program is a non-profit charitable organization, operates as an all-volunteer program, and is chartered under Little League District 73 of Northern California. It is the only Little League sanctioned program for boys and girls in Los Banos and neighboring communities and serves children from Los Banos, Dos Palos, Santa Nella, and Gustine, California.
The stated goal of Little League is to help youngsters develop citizenship, discipline, teamwork, and physical well-being through sports, and to help them learn their own strengths and weaknesses, the meanings of sportsmanship and cooperation, the essence of competition, and the qualities that constitute effective leadership. Los Banos Little League shares Little League International’s mission “to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League Baseball and Softball,” and focuses on encouraging participation, developing character and discipline, promoting teamwork, and advocating citizenship and community pride. The organization states that it will strive to provide quality instruction in the development of baseball skills, sportsmanship, competitiveness, and fair play, is committed to enriching the lives of youth and fostering a love of the game, and always promotes the three core values of Little League International: Character, Courage, and Loyalty.
