West Valley Youth Theater

West Valley Youth Theater offers immersive school productions, camps, and professional shows that involve kids in theater experiences on and off stage. The program focuses on building self-confidence, public speaking, and organizational skills for future settings such as the boardroom, courtroom, and jobs of tomorrow.

West Valley Youth Theater has been bringing performing arts to youth in the Bay Area for nearly twenty years. The program is led by Broadway veteran Heather Stokes. Heather has a background in classical voice at the University of the Pacific Conservatory and a Musical Theater Performance Degree from the American Musical & Dramatic Academy. Her professional experience includes the original revival Broadway cast of “Grease,” several national tours, commercials, and television credits. After ten years working in New York City, she returned to the Bay Area in 1998 and worked for many years as a resident director for CMT in San Jose, and she has over twenty years of experience directing youth theater productions. One parent shared, “We are so grateful for this experience! It has been so amazing watching our camper's confidence grow each week.”
