West Valley Youth Theater

West Valley Youth Theater offers immersive school productions, camps, and professional shows where kids participate in theater activities on and off stage. The program focuses on building self-confidence, public speaking, and organizational skills for future settings such as the boardroom, courtroom, and jobs of tomorrow.

Led by Broadway veteran Heather Stokes, West Valley Youth Theater has nearly twenty years of bringing performing arts to youth in the Bay Area. Heather has a background in classical voice at UOP conservatory and a Musical Theater Performance Degree from the American Musical & Dramatic Academy. Her professional experience includes the original revival Broadway cast of “Grease” (including several national tours), as well as commercials and television credits. She returned to the Bay Area in 1998 after ten years of working in New York City and worked as a resident director for CMT in San Jose for many years, with over twenty years of directing youth theater productions. A parent testimonial states, “We are so grateful for this experience! It has been so amazing watching our camper's confidence grow each week.”
