Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley is a private nonprofit founded in 1995 and is governed by a local volunteer board. It employs over 100 youth development professionals and serves over 1,600 youth at 11 sites in Butte and Glenn Counties, with support from more than 500 community volunteers. Its mission is to inspire and enable all young people to reach their full potential as responsible, productive and caring citizens. The organization is audited and endorsed by the Grand Jury as a proven program, is a platinum participant through GuideStar/Candid, is compliant with the Office of State Assembly, serves as a training site for Boys & Girls Clubs and other after school programs, and is recognized as a model program for youth development best practices. The leadership team includes Chief Executive Officer Rashell Brobst and multiple directors and coordinators, including Travis Thornberry as Pine Ridge School Site Coordinator.
