Dance Expressions Studio

Dance Expressions Studio offers dance classes that expose students to proper dance technique, musicality, and artistic expression. The program also includes a Performing Company that takes part in dance performances at NBA basketball games, local community events, and the Disneyland Resort.

• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: The dance year runs September–June and culminates with an end-of-the-year performance on June 6 and 7, 2026. Spring Session begins March 30.

Dance Expressions Studio was founded by Maryanne Fernandez-Richardson and Danielle Fernandez. The studio offers quality dance classes for students ages 3 through young adult, with all levels of ability. All Performing Company dancers are required to enroll in another weekly Dance Expressions class or classes, as well as a Saturday Technique class. Registration is open for Spring and Summer Camps. Performing Company members experience the joy of performing at various events in the area. Dance Expressions Studio also offers Dance Expressions apparel through an online store. Dance Expressions states that its mission is to create a positive, upbeat, and inspiring learning environment where students can express themselves, be creative, and develop as dancers and as people, and that the dance training students receive plays a role in building self-confidence, positive self-esteem, dedication, and the ability to work as a group.
