Menlo Park Academy of Dance

Menlo Park Academy of Dance offers recreational, competitive, and pre-professional dance, along with a curriculum that includes a variety of dance genres with an emphasis on classical ballet technique. The program also offers a Summer Intensive Program featuring workshops, classes, and lectures, as well as a Winter Intensive and a production called Winter Suite 2 – The Story Continues, which is a sequel to the original Winter Suite – A Nutcracker Fantasy and follows the adventures of a young dancer on a heartwarming journey. All studios used by the program have bright spaces with high ceilings, natural light, and hand-built, state-of-the-art sprung dance floors.

Menlo Park Academy of Dance has been described as a stalwart of dance excellence since 1947 and celebrated 75 years serving the local community on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Menlo Park Academy of Dance is an accredited Royal Academy school and the recipient of the prestigious Solo Seal Award, and it is the official school of Menlo Park’s only professional ballet company, Menlowe Ballet.
