Summer@PBS offers week-long camps where campers take part in activities such as coding, ceramics, music, nature science, dance, design, The Big Build, Performing Arts, Science Fair, carpentry, Art Extravaganza, Minecraft Engineering, basketball, gardening, sewing/crochet, art sculptures, 3D printing, soccer, paleontology, board game creations, theatre, Tiny Architects, volleyball, Lego robotics, fashion, chess, pickleball, and marine biology. Campers choose their own weekly schedule based on their interests and take part in specialist electives that form the core of each camper’s personalized journey. Age-based groups work together on a weeklong group project tied to The Big Build, Performing Arts, or Science Fair, and each week ends with a showcase where campers present their projects to the camp community.

• Ages: 5–11 years old
• Schedule: Week-long camps from June 8–July 31, 2026, generally running Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with MorningCare from 8:00–9:00 a.m. and AfterCare from 3:00–4:00 p.m. available as add-ons
• Price: Weekly: $925; MorningCare add-on: $75 per week; AfterCare add-on: $75 per week; 2-week incentive: $150 credit for MorningCare or AfterCare

Summer@PBS Adventure Camp offers five electives each week across areas such as making projects, art experiences, science and engineering projects, sports, and nature-focused activities, and campers pick two electives per week. Programs are described as hands-on, with collaborative, child-led scheduling and robust before- and after-school programming. Upon registration, a daily packing list is sent to families.

Phillips Brooks School was established in 1978. The school’s leadership history includes founding Head of School Jack Towner; Elizabeth (Bitsie) Root, Head of School from 1982–1997; Beth Passi, third Head of School from 1997; Clair Ward, Associate Head of School from 2000–2008; Kristi A. Kerins, fourth Head of School from 2005; Dr. Scott Erickson, fifth Head of School from July 2011 through the end of the 2023–2024 school year; Diane Rosenberg, Interim Head of School for the 2024–2025 academic year; and Jennifer Bohnen, sixth permanent Head of School effective July 1, 2025.
