Sun Camp runs a summer day camp that includes Kids Camp and Teens & Adults Camp. Sun Camp runs a summer day camp for children with Down syndrome and their siblings entering grades K-6, and Teens & Adults Camp for teens and adults with Down syndrome and similar conditions, and their brothers and sisters. As an inclusive day camp for kids, teens, and adults with Down syndrome and similar conditions, and their brothers and sisters, Sun Camp focuses on building reciprocal and balanced long-term friendships.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Kids Camp runs one week, and Teens/Adults Camp runs two weeks
• Price: Camp fees are below cost
In 2026, Kids Camp will run for one week from August 3–7, and Teens/Adults Camp will run for two weeks from July 20–24 and July 27–31. Sun Camp started in 2013 and is now 13 years old. Sun Camp encourages volunteers and donations through its fiscal sponsor, Social Good Fund, a Bay-Area-based non-profit.
