Milpitas Discoveryland offers developmentally appropriate readiness activities that promote early learning, including painting, digging in the dirt, listening to stories, writing a few of their own stories, counting, and graphing. Children take part in Language and Story Time, Bible and Memory exercises, Puzzles and Games, Math and Science, Computer exploration, Arts and Crafts, music and singing, pre-reading activities, Special Days, Programs and Events, and daily exercise. The program includes a “Hands On” approach that involves children in developmentally appropriate activities throughout the day, with computers in each classroom, toilet learning, and healthy, vegetarian meals served daily.
