About
Apollo After School Summer Camp offers eight weeks of themed activities, including planting fruits and vegetables, learning how to reduce, reuse, and recycle, and studying birds, rocks, and dirt. Campers take part in projects such as turning themselves into superheroes, creating comic strips, building a superhero city, experimenting with real-life “superpowers,” exploring sharks and the ocean, going on a pirate adventure, and becoming a paleontologist for the day to study fossils and dinosaurs. The program also includes learning about rocket ships and life as an astronaut, studying the sun, moon, and planets, exploring rainforests, mountains, volcanos and world cultures, and taking part in spooky science experiments, creepy crafts, and themed days like silly alien day.
