Next Level Gymnastics offers gymnastics training that includes tumbling, dance, cheer, choreography, and floor routines. The program also offers gymnastic camps, summer intensives, and birthday parties. Next Level Gymnastics offers a Parent Portal and a free trial class, and it maintains a holiday calendar for families.

Next Level Gymnastics started offering classes on August 22, 2022, and is described as the culmination of 40 years of experience in the sport of gymnastics. The program states that its goal is to expose as many children as possible to the benefits of gymnastics training by combining mental and physical fitness together. Its mission statement is: “Creating happy, healthy and fit children through fun and creative gymnastics training. We want to be Empowering Kids For Life!” Next Level Gymnastics is active on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Yelp, and YouTube.
The leadership team includes a Gym Director, along with coaches such as TJ Weaver, Margaret, Shanna, Annabelle, Kendyl, Angie, Shelley, Chantelle, Alissa Gutierrez, Sophia Tran, Gabby, and gymnastics coach Cierra Jacquet (Ceecee). Coach TJ Weaver is in his 38th year of coaching recreational and competitive gymnastics, began coaching in 1984 after performing in the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, and previously trained as an athlete at the California Suns Gymnastics Center in Chatsworth. He was invited to coach a camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs in 1988, has helped develop athletes up through USAG Xcel Diamond and Development Level 3–10, and is the founder and former owner and director of Champion Gymnastics in Pasadena and Action Gymnastics in Palm Desert.
Coach Margaret has been involved in gymnastics for over 10 years, has coached recreational and competitive gymnastics for over 6 years, interns at Queen of the Valley Hospital in West Covina, and is a third-year student at California State University, Los Angeles, completing pre-med courses with an expected graduation in 2025. Coach Shanna has been involved in gymnastics for almost 20 years, competed for 10 years up through development program level 8 and in Xcel Diamond, has coached recreational and competitive gymnastics since 2015, has helped produce gymnasts up through the regional level, and has studied kinesiology and psychology at Cal State Los Angeles. Annabelle has been part of gymnastics for over 10 years, competed and reached Level 7 before moving into coaching, has five years of experience coaching competitive and recreational gymnasts, and has recently taken up running marathons.
Coach Kendyl has been dancing since age two, competed in both dance and cheer, danced at the elite level in college, received a dance teaching certificate from Mt. San Antonio College, danced professionally before stopping due to injury, and started coaching gymnastics at age 17. She has been teaching dance for the past 10 years at many studios, primarily at Dancers World Production, specializes in teaching tumbling to dancers or dance to gymnasts, works as a competition choreographer for both gymnastics and dance, and serves as a master class teacher for summer intensives. Coach Angie has 10 years of experience in gymnastics, including seven years as a competitive athlete, and has been coaching tumbling for the past 6 years, mainly through private lessons. She began coaching the same cheer team she grew up on in 2021 and has led them since, coaching them to a national championship title in the 2025 season, and she has nearly 10 years of dance experience, teaches and choreographs dance at local high schools, still dances professionally, was part of The Lab dance crew, and trained with top choreographers while working with artists and groups such as BTS, J-Hope, and Becky G.
Coach Shelley grew up training as a competitive gymnast, competed through USA Gymnastics Level 5, then transitioned into all-star cheerleading and eventually competed at the Cheerleading World Championships, and she has been coaching for several years. Coach Chantelle has been doing gymnastics since age 5, competed for 9 years, has coached gymnastics for 3 years and cheerleading for 1 year, was both a gymnast and cheerleader in high school, did college cheer during her first year at California State University, Long Beach, and is currently a psychology student at CSULB. Alissa Gutierrez has been involved in gymnastics for over 15 years, competed in artistic gymnastics and Tumbling & Trampoline, began coaching at 15, and has 8 years of experience with recreational and competitive gymnasts. She specializes in choreography and floor routines for Xcel Gold, Platinum, and Level 6 optionals, is a tumbling expert with a focus on technique, progressions, and athlete confidence, and is also a professional actress and singer based in Los Angeles.
Sophia Tran has been doing gymnastics for over 6 years, competed for 2 years, and has been coaching for the past 2 years, working with recreational classes and the competitive team at Next Level Gymnastics while studying Business Marketing as a third-year student at California State University of Los Angeles. Coach Gabby was a gymnast for 10 years during her childhood, recently moved from Oregon, and enjoys working with animals outside the gym. Cierra Jacquet (Ceecee) was born and raised in Monrovia, California, started at Champion Gymnastics as a toddler, then moved into All Star Cheer at Victory Cheer, Pacific Coast Magic, and California All Stars, and has been a competitive cheerleader for 8 years. She attended Florida International University to continue her cheer career, graduated in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Early Child Education, was titled NCA National Champion with FIU Cheer in 2022, has worked as a gymnastics coach for 6 years, and has worked as a kindergarten assistant for 2 years.
