Montrose Preschool and Infant Care offers activities that include problem solving, language development, visual/spatial learning, school readiness skills, socialization, play and fun, and art. The program follows a developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum recommended by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and their philosophy for Early Childhood Education and School Readiness. It offers two different learning levels: Preschool and Infant and Toddler.
• Ages: 0–5 years old
• Schedule: Class options Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, with full-day options for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and a half-day option for preschoolers ending at noon
Montrose Preschool and Infant Care is a non-profit, play-based preschool and infant care program that is child and family centered. The program embraces all cultures and faiths among staff and students. It focuses on current research into Early Childhood Education and serves families in Montrose, Tujunga, Glendale, Sunland, La Crescenta, and La Cañada Flintridge. Teachers guide children as they grow socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually, and kindergarten readiness is part of the process as they build the foundation for a love of academic learning. Montrose Preschool and Infant Care is the winner of the Best of Montrose Award in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
