About

AR Workshop Youth Workshops and Summer Art Camps offers hands-on craft classes that include youth workshops, group activities, private parties, and summer art camps. Participants work on specific DIY projects such as wood signs, trays, porch signs, seasonal projects, canvas pillows, wall hangings, tote bags, youth aprons, and a variety of DIY-to-Go kits that can also be used at home. The program also offers candle pouring workshops where participants mix scents to create their own candle and fragrance, chunky knit blanket workshops with classic and specialty knit blankets, as well as watercolor, embroidery, charcuterie, hat burning, jewelry, cookie decorating, handlettering, and texture art workshops in a boutique DIY studio setting.

In 2016 Maureen Anders and Adria Ruff introduced AR Workshop. The leadership team includes Maureen Anders as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Adria Ruff as Co-Founder and Creative Director, Ryann Fairweather as VP of Operations, Libby Martel as VP of Strategy and Brand Development, Emily Ostrowski as Director of National Marketing & Brand Partnerships, Joanna Rapuzzi as Director of Franchise Development, Kellie Smith as Operations and IT Manager, Melissa Bowen as Brand Manager, Jillian Russell as Franchise General Counsel, Calhoun Grabowski as Graphic Designer & Project Manager, and Jen Carver as Content Contributor. AR Workshop has more than 125 franchises across the country and is growing through strategic franchise partnerships. The studios are described as charming boutique studios that are a destination for all things DIY and a space where participants can create and celebrate, with tools and materials ready and a curated retail selection of gifts, home decor, and DIY-to-Go kits.
