Outdoor Education at Camp Campbell includes outdoor education at Camp Campbell along with sports camps and STEM camps. The program is connected with The YMCA Thingamajig Invention Convention, where inventions use 100% recycled materials.

The program is part of the YMCA of Silicon Valley, whose mission is to strengthen the community by improving the quality of life and inspiring individuals and families to develop their fullest potential in spirit, mind and body. The YMCA of Silicon Valley reports a 157-year history of strengthening the Silicon Valley community. Leadership connected to the organization includes Leo Khooshabeh, Mt Madonna YMCA's Senior Nutrition Program Director. YMCA of Silicon Valley reports consistently high ratings on Charity Navigator and Guidestar.
The YMCA of Silicon Valley serves as a USDA food program sponsor distributing meals and snacks to youth and their families, and it includes food distribution and meals served to older adults and vulnerable seniors through a Senior Nutrition program in Gilroy and Morgan Hill. The organization provides academic enrichment programs and Project Cornerstone resources in the community and states a commitment to advancing equity for all and dismantling oppressive systems. One participant in The YMCA Thingamajig Invention Convention stated, “I cannot believe I won, this is the best camp day ever!”
