Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta offers after-school and out-of-school time programs that include Triple Play, Garden-to-Table, Power Hour, SMART Girls, STEM programming, Torch Club, art and crafts, Passport to Manhood, homework help, tutoring, and other high-yield learning activities. Participants take part in activities such as planting outside, growing sprouts inside, and eating the harvest from Garden-to-Table projects.

The mission of Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta is to empower youth to reach their full potential as responsible, caring and productive citizens through professionally led programs and activities that are fun, positive and relevant in a safe, supportive and healthy environment. The organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. It partners with the Mount Shasta Union School District to enhance programming and expand access, with Clubs operating within district school sites. The Club offers expanded summer programming that reaches members from multiple school districts in Siskiyou County and provides affordable, high-quality programs to ensure accessibility for children.

Abigail describes the Club as a place where she can be herself and spend time with friends after school. Edgar reports that before joining, life was boring, and now he has a fun place to go with friends, good food, homework help, fun programs and games, and staff he describes as nice. Tasmyn says she loves the Club because she can make friends, have fun, and enjoy the food.
