• Ages: 3–18 years old
For over 30 years, Pacific Ballet Academy has offered a full range of graded classes. The program provides the traditions and discipline of Russian Ballet and offers free trial classes year-round. Its mission is to provide a unique opportunity for students of all ages and abilities to study the traditions and discipline of Ballet, with personal attention and professional training to match each student's interests. The Studio Company offers additional performing opportunities for advanced dancers in levels VI–VII. Performing opportunities in the past have included appearances with the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra, the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, and at the Armenian Genocide Centennial Commemoration at San Francisco City Hall. The academy’s first full length Giselle received rave reviews, and the first-ever Mountain View Dance Festival played to a full to bursting house and displayed a wide variety of dance styles. A testimonial shared by the program quotes Agnes de Mille: "Girl or boy, gifted or not, LEARN THEN TO DANCE. You will stand up straighter and walk prouder the rest of your life. And you will be kinder and more polite and more careful in all physical matters and less afraid."
