Spartans Sports Camp offers a range of activities including basketball, football, wiffle ball, soccer, volleyball, track and field, Frisbee golf, swimming, arcade time, sports, performing arts, and academic enrichment. The program includes a free Girls Flag Football One Day Camp, a Multi-sport Spring Break Camp where three to four sports are played each day, and summer camps that include daily on-site swimming. The objective of the multi-sport camp is to introduce campers to as many sports as possible to see what they would like to pursue further, with counselors helping campers learn the basics of each sport.

• Schedule: Girls Flag Football One Day Camp on March 21, 2026 from 9:00 am–12:00 pm; Multi-sport Spring Break Camp from April 6–April 10, 2026 from 8:00 am–3:00 pm daily; Summer Camp 2026 from June 8–July 31, 2026

Spartans Sports Camp offers a wide variety of sports, performing arts, and academic enrichment camps for kids entering grades 1–9. The Spartan Girls Flag Football Camp focuses on the “Total Athlete,” including elite skills, physical growth, character, and confidence. The camp is run by Mountain View High School coaches and student-athletes and is led by the experienced Mountain View coaching staff and varsity players. Experienced staff ensures everyone has fun.
Spartans Sports Camp was founded in 2012 by former Athletic Director John Payne, and 2026 will be their 13th summer providing camps. Spartans Sports Camp is operated entirely by the Mountain View High School Athletic Department, and all proceeds go directly to support the sports programs at Mountain View High School. The camp has raised and donated over $630,000 for the Mountain View High School Athletic Department since 2012, and it appreciates tremendous support from the community. Spartans Sports Camp is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Spartans Sports Camp is dedicated to providing an encouraging and positive environment that aids in the development of its campers as both children and athletes. One parent, Marti, shared that her son has attended the multi-sport camp week for the past two years, enjoyed trying multiple sports including less familiar ones, liked having choices such as swimming or arcade time, and spoke highly of counselors who were positive, enthusiastic, and engaging. Marti also noted appreciating the students and adults who served as his counselors and managed the camp and described Spartans Sports Camp as a fantastic experience and a great value for their family.
