During the holidays and summer, Eye Heart Art Kids Classes and Camps offers a camp for students ages 4 1/2 to 14 that follows a structured program where children learn fundamentals and take part in arts and crafts and pottery. The program’s core curriculum teaches children various mediums through an ongoing program of traditional art techniques, and each child progresses through acrylic, watercolor, clay, printmaking, sketching, charcoal, oil paint, and mixed media at an individual pace. Eye Heart Art states that completing a course is not a race but an artistic process, and featured guest visiting artists speak to students about their specific art and their experience as working artists. Parent and Me sessions for ages 18 months to 4 years focus on expressive and creative art while toddlers gain fine motor skills and develop the senses through color, line, texture, and shape, and all paint used is non toxic and sometimes food-based.
