Hwa Rang Kwan Napa is a nonprofit martial arts program in Taekwondo, Hapkido, and Kumdo. The program also includes combat and self-defense, Kumdo, and other martial arts weapons training. Classes are part of the larger Hwa Rang Kwan organization, which has over fifty Hwa Rang Kwan branch dojangs in the world.

Supreme Grandmaster D.K. Shin leads the Hwa Rang Kwan organization and has spent over fifty years studying martial arts, holding 9th Dan in Taekwondo from the World Taekwondo Federation – Kukkiwon and 9th Dan in Hapkido from the World Hapkido Federation. Grandmaster Shin was responsible for training the Korean Tiger Division, the Green Beret, and the Jungle Ranger School in Vietnam, and trained the United States Military for ten years. He is also an instructor for Stanford University and a professor at both Seoul Sports University and United Arts College. Robert J. Morey began his martial arts career in 1983, studied Aikido for five years under Dr. Bob Simmons in Ki Society style, then studied Taekwondo and Hapkido under Grandmaster D.K. Shin from 1992 to 1997, taught at the dojang, and achieved his 5th Dan under Grandmaster Shin at the head dojang in San Carlos, California. Morey was California state champion in his AAU division in both forms and sparring in 2002, 2003, and 2004. Dr. Martin L. W. Hall received his 1st Dan under Master Robert Morey in May 2015. In 1971, young Master Shin arrived in San Francisco, and in 1996 the Hwa Rang Kwan headquarters was relocated to Redwood City, California, and is now located in San Carlos, California.
