About
Camp Bowl Summer Camp takes place at Sugar Bowl Resort, which offers four peaks named Mt. Judah, Mt. Lincoln, Mt. Disney, and Crow’s Nest. These peaks include terrain that ranges from beginner slopes to steep alpine bowls and tree skiing.
Sugar Bowl has operated for more than 80 years and is one of the oldest ski resorts in California. The resort opened in 1939 and helped introduce alpine skiing to a new generation of Californians. In its first season, the resort installed California’s first chairlift on Mt. Disney. In 1953, Sugar Bowl installed the West Coast’s first aerial gondola, which connects the village to the mountain.
