Sugar Bowl Seasonal Programs

Sugar Bowl Seasonal Programs includes Mini Shredders for ages 4 to 6, Mountain Shredders for ages 7 to 12, Teen Shredders for ages 13 to 17, RGXC Nordic Ski Team for ages 5 to 19, Mountain Club for adults 18+, Private Lessons for all ages, Child Group Lessons for ages 4 to 12, Adult Group Lessons for ages 13+, First Timer Lessons: Learn to Ski + Ride for ages 13+, Competitive Teams for ages 5+, and Youth Nordic Ski Team for ages 5 to 17. The programs include ski-only instruction, ski and snowboard lessons, cross-country skiing, alpine racing, freeride, freestyle, and first-timer lessons with lift tickets and equipment rentals included in that program.

• Mini Shredders — 4 to 6 · Midweek, weekend, and Saturday-only programs available; January - March · $999–$2,799 · Ski-only program for young skiers. 6:2 student-to-coach ratio. Season pass or lift ticket required; not included. Participants must have their own ski equipment; not included.
• Mountain Shredders — 7 to 12 · Midweek, weekend, full, and half-day programs available; January - March · $699–$2,399
• Teen Shredders — 13 to 17 · January - March · Progressive Mountain Shredders program for teens. Ski & snowboard program. Focused on skill-building and confidence; non-competitive.
• RGXC Nordic Ski Team — 5 to 19 · December - March · For kids in grades K–12. Multi-day program focused on confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of cross country skiing.
• Mountain Club — 18+ · January - March · Adult-only ski program for strong intermediates and advanced skiers. Includes après sessions and connection with the mountain community.
• Seasonal Programs — 4+ · Midweek + Weekend programming · Season-long youth and adult programs. Non-competitive programs for the whole family.
• Private Lessons — All ages · All season long · Customized instruction for all ages and ability levels. Ski & snowboard.
• Child Group Lessons — 4 - 12 · All season long · Group lessons for kids. Ski & snowboard.
• Adult Group Lessons — 13+ · All season long · Group lesson focused on community and fun led by a professional instructor. Ski & snowboard.
• First Timer Lessons: Learn to Ski + Ride — 13+ · All season long · Lessons, lift tickets, and equipment rentals are included.
• Competitive Teams — 5+ · All season long · Programs for alpine racing, freeride, and freestyle. Ski + snowboard.
• Youth Nordic Ski Team — 5-17 · December through March · At Royal Gorge. Fun, skill-building introduction to cross-country skiing.

About the provider

Sugar Bowl has been around since 1939, and the resort says it has shaped the culture of skiing in Tahoe for more than 80 years. Seasonal Programs are described as season-long, non-competitive programs built for progression and fun.

Seasonal program registrations are non-transferable and non-refundable. We ski and snowboard in all weather conditions; however, seasonal programs may occasionally be canceled. There are no makeup sessions or refunds for cancellations. If canceled due to extenuating circumstances, participants will be notified by email before 8:30 AM. Participants are expected to attend only the dates and times for which they registered.
