About
Toluca Baseball offers a regular spring baseball season with weekly and Saturday practices, pre-season games, weekday games, playoffs, and a Championship Day, along with an introductory program for four-year-olds and a 10-week developmental league in the fall. Players and coaches take part in Youth Day at Dodger Stadium, including an on-field parade where they walk on Dodger Field, sit together by team in the Right Field Pavilion, and see the league featured on Dodger Vision. The program also hosts the Coach Ballgame Sandlot Tour, a one-day, 3-hour baseball clinic that focuses on joy, teamwork, confidence, and the simple magic of playing ball with no pressure and no tryouts, and this clinic is open to all kids, not just Toluca families.

The league consists of four competitive divisions for boys and girls aged 4–12, includes 30+ teams and 500+ players, and draws about 10,000 fans. It is described as one of the top youth baseball programs in Southern California and is widely recognized for balancing a competitive environment with a culture of support for players’ enjoyment of the game. Toluca Baseball is a full-service, all-volunteer league and a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, and every year the graduating class represents Toluca Baseball at the weeklong Cooperstown Dream Park Tournament.
The program’s mission states that baseball is more than just a game, and that it teaches teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship on and off the field. Toluca Baseball’s fields have grass infields, are meticulously maintained, and are described as among the best in L.A. County. The league operates in partnership with the City of Los Angeles’ Recreation and Parks Department, and sponsors and community leaders help maintain the fields and accommodate hundreds of kids from throughout the region seeking a positive baseball experience. Youth Day at Dodger Stadium is described as an unforgettable community day.
The leadership team includes coaches Manny Aguilar, Jon Candelier, and Lance Lanfear.
