San Fernando Valley Music Lessons

San Fernando Valley Music Lessons offers piano lessons, guitar lessons, and drum lessons through both virtual music classes and in-person music classes. The program includes Guitar Classes and Guitar Lessons, Drum Classes and Drum Lessons, Piano Classes and Piano Lessons, as well as Rock Band and Performing Ensembles.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

San Fernando Valley Music Lessons is led by Alonso, a music instructor who has been teaching music privately since 2015. The instructor earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in music performance. Classes are available in Spanish (clases en español). The program focuses on helping students develop a connection with their favorite music, using games, music of the student's choosing, and silliness to guide exploration of music. The expectation of performance is reserved for students who demonstrate the desire to perform, and lessons revolve around fun and developing a healthy connection with music until the student chooses to focus on performance. Music lessons are presented as a fun way to sharpen perseverance and discipline, and children are described as especially benefiting from a music lessons experience that provides lasting effects on self-esteem and resilience.
