Youth Basketball includes youth small fry basketball, which is designed to teach children the basics of basketball. The Youth Basketball Co-Ed league provides fundamental instruction and friendly competition in a safe and structured environment. Pee Wee Basketball Co-Ed is part of Pee Wee Sports, which gives the little ones the opportunity to shine and is designed to introduce children to the basic fundamentals in a non-competitive environment.
• Ages: 5–13 years old
• Schedule: Registration begins Saturday, November 1, at 9 a.m., with early sign-up ending Wednesday, January 7, 2026, or until max capacity is reached; the season begins Monday, January 19, 2026; Pee Wee Basketball Co-Ed runs as a 4-week program; a parent meeting for Small Fry Basketball and Youth Basketball takes place Wednesday, January 7 at 6 p.m.
• Price: The fee includes a jersey and a medal.
Norwalk's parks and community recreation programs, including Youth Basketball, are administered by the City's Recreation and Park Services Department. The City of Norwalk was incorporated in August 1957.
