Hamilton Montessori School

Hamilton Montessori School offers daily activities that include music, art, cooking, walking adventures, and outdoor activities. The program uses Montessori materials and Montessori trained teachers who guide children in language arts, mathematics, sensorial development, practical living skills, and cultural subjects such as the sciences and social studies. Programs also include in-services in the arts and sciences, and walking adventures and outdoor activities are connected with the academic or social lesson of the month.

• Schedule: Hours of operation from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, with school day and half-day options available 2, 3, or 5 days per week

Hamilton Montessori School offers preschool for children ages 2 to 6 years old, from toddler through kindergarten, and follows a Montessori philosophy with multi-age classrooms. The school has two multi-aged classrooms: Toddlers for ages 2–3 years old, and Preschoolers/Pre-Kindergarteners for ages 3–6 years old, with an emphasis on grace and courtesy and positive peer interaction for toddlers and on cultural subjects and community connection for preschoolers and pre-kindergarteners. Hamilton Montessori School opened its doors in February 2018 and has rolling enrollment for fall, spring, and summer sessions. The school is licensed by the California Department of Social Services under Facility Number 214005417. The leadership team includes Interim Director and Head of School Dr. Cindy Acker. Parent involvement is described as an important part of the school, with parents volunteering time in school or at home in various aspects of school planning and curriculum.
