Malonga Arts Collective

Malonga Arts Collective includes the African Queens Dance Company for girls ages 7-18, the Bantaba Dance Ensemble, Dance-A-Vision, Diamano Coura West African Dance Company, Dimensions Dance Theater, Fua Dia Congo, LIKHA-Pilipino Folk Ensemble, Omulu Capoeira, Rara Tou Limen, and SambaFunk!. Its offerings include dance, drumming, music, capoeira, workshops, performances, and educational events.

Programs

• African Queens Dance Company — 7-18 · The African Queens Dance Company empowers young girls, ages 7-18, to pursue physical, spiritual, and emotional wellness through dance.
• Bantaba Dance Ensemble — Shares drumming and culture with at-risk youth, adults, and everyone willing to learn.
• Dance-A-Vision — Provides beginners through experts the opportunity to study with professional dance teachers.
• Diamano Coura West African Dance Company
• Dimensions Dance Theater — Mission is to preserve and perpetuate African-derived dance forms through creating, teaching, and performing.
• Fua Dia Congo — Centered on cultural preservation and service through art, sharing traditional music, dance, and culture from Central Africa, specifically the Kongo Kingdom.
• LIKHA-Pilipino Folk Ensemble — Mission is to collect and preserve indigenous Philippine art forms as expressed in music, literature, dance, arts, crafts, and attire.
• Omulu Capoeira — Provides capoeira arts and music programming to youth and adults.
