Oceanside American Little League

Oceanside American Little League is a coed baseball program where boys and girls play in organized league baseball. The program runs two seasons each year, with baseball activities in the spring and fall. Each year, more than 350 players participate in the league.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Two seasons: Spring (Feb–May) and Fall (Sep–Nov); weeknight practices and Saturday games

Since 1953, Oceanside American Little League has been a part of the Oceanside community and has continued for more than 70 years. The league is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, volunteer-run program that describes itself as a community-driven family that has welcomed generations of Oceanside kids. It reports more than 1,000 visitors to the fields every season and 30,000 yearly website visitors with over 85,000 page views. The league states that its mission is to give every child the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed through the game it calls “the game we all love.” It invites support through donations or sponsorships to help provide scholarships, upgrade and maintain equipment and fields, cover essential operating expenses, and create a safe, fun, and memorable baseball experience.
