Using more than 25 years of experience, Children’s Paradise Preschool & Infant Centers has developed a learning program with the support of the California Department of Education. Program options include Infant Care & Cuddle Bugs for ages 6 weeks to 18 months, Toddler Care & Giggle Bees for ages 18 to 36 months, and High Quality Preschool for ages 3 to 5 years. For school-age children 5 to 12 years old, the program offers The Clubhouse Before & After School and The Clubhouse Summer Day Camp, as well as parenting classes for families with children of all ages. The program offers low to no cost options and focuses on building strong families, supporting a partnership between families and staff, and respecting each family’s traditions and culture.

The mission of Children’s Paradise Preschool & Infant Centers is to improve communities one child at a time by giving children tools at an early age to be successful in elementary school and beyond. The program states that each child is viewed as a unique and valuable individual and that all children are to be offered equal opportunity and access to high-quality early childhood education regardless of family income. The program describes its approach as believing in an “old-fashioned childhood” where children learn and explore through imaginative play experiences facilitated by highly educated teachers and caregivers.

Children’s Paradise Preschool & Infant Centers reports that it provides high quality early care and education that values each child as an individual, promotes diversity and appreciation for individuality, and encourages children to develop a positive self-image, independence, and confidence. The program also states that it fosters creativity and problem-solving skills, advances opportunities to further develop fine and gross motor skills, stimulates cognitive skills and a desire for learning, and fills each child’s day with adventure, imagination, and wonder. It emphasizes strengthening the home–school relationship by building lasting partnerships with children, parents, families, team members, and staff.

The leadership team includes Julie Lowen as Chief Executive Officer, President, and Founder; Lona Seitz as Chief Operating Officer; Gustavo Lanatta as Chief Financial Officer; Renee Mullen as Chief Marketing Officer; Nicole Steele as Chief Academic Officer; Lisa Hicks as Chief Sales Officer; and Diane Prospero as Director of Child Development. Staff members are involved in ongoing training and research in early childhood development.

Each Children’s Paradise Preschool and Infant Center states that it integrates the entire community by providing resources to families so that all families can access high quality early care and education regardless of income or access to resources. Children’s Paradise is a partner of the Smarty Patch Foundation, which focuses on providing all children equal access to early education.
