Move Dance Academy offers classes in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Acrobatics, and Tumbling. Move Dance Academy is described as a premier dance studio for ages 2–18, with programs built on the pillars of athleticism, artistry, confidence, discipline, friendship, and fun. The studio offers a Mini Movers program for dancers ages 5 and under, including an early childhood program for ages 2–5 that introduces dance through age-appropriate, structured training. The recreational program offers beginning and recreational classes that are commitment-free and fun-focused while delivering technical training, and the competitive program offers elite-level training and performance opportunities. The studio holds annual professionally produced Winter and Summer Recitals with lighting, sound, costuming, and an audience.
The facility includes sprung Marley floors, parent viewing windows and class monitoring TVs, a spacious lobby, a break room, and a homework room. Exceptional instructors each have 10 or more years of dance experience, with extensive studio, collegiate, and/or professional performance backgrounds, and all staff have passed LiveScan background checks. Move Dance Academy states that its mission is to provide premier technical training and exceptional artistry within a nurturing and supportive environment, and to inspire dancers to feel limitless in their potential through professionally designed programs that foster growth both in and out of the studio.
