Move Dance Academy offers classes in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Acrobatics, and Tumbling. The program also includes a Mini Movers program and provides classes for beginner and recreational dancers as well as advanced and competitive performers. Move Dance Academy describes itself as a premier dance studio for ages 2–18, with programs built on the pillars of athleticism, artistry, confidence, discipline, friendship, and fun. The studio offers a signature Mini Movers program for dancers ages 5 and under, including a Mini Movers Program for ages 2–5 that introduces dance through age-appropriate, structured training. The program includes a recreational program with commitment-free, fun-focused classes that also provide technical training, as well as a Competitive Program that offers elite-level training and performance opportunities. Classes are thoughtfully sized to provide individualized attention, and flexible scheduling options are available, including commitment-free trial lessons. Annual professionally produced Winter and Summer Recitals include lighting, sound, costuming, and an audience.
Move Dance Academy states that its mission is to provide premier technical training and exceptional artistry within a nurturing and supportive environment, and to inspire dancers to feel limitless in their potential through professionally designed programs that foster growth both in and out of the studio. The studio uses injury-preventative sprung Marley floors and offers parent viewing windows and class monitoring TVs, along with a spacious lobby, break room, and homework room. Exceptional instructors at Move Dance Academy each have 10 or more years of dance experience, with extensive studio, collegiate, and/or professional performance backgrounds, and all staff have passed LiveScan background checks.
