About
World Martial Arts Center offers Taekwondo, Hapkido, and self-defense training, with separate classes for martial arts for kids ages 4–6, warrior children's martial arts for ages 7–12, and teen and adult martial arts. The program also hosts birthday party events that include martial arts activities.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
Certified instructors at World Martial Arts Center have trained in Korea and are experts in Taekwondo, recognized by Kukkiwon, and the lead instructor has specialized training in early childhood physical education. The leadership team includes Master Shin, Master Roman, and Master Ahmir. The program’s motto is “Discipline Leads Success in Life,” and its mission statement describes a commitment to teaching the physical skills of martial arts along with attitude-shaping exercises, while instructors advance their own martial art and educational knowledge through weekly training. The center specializes in authentic Taekwondo and Hapkido training with traditional and precise techniques, offers Kukkiwon-certified Taekwondo training, and tailors programs to different age groups and skill levels with a focus on physical fitness, mental clarity, personal growth, discipline, respect, focus, perseverance, and leadership skills. Belt advancement is based on demonstrated improvement and growth rather than time or attendance alone, and a free trial class is available.
Parent and student reviews describe children and families gaining confidence, respect, self-awareness, and self-defense skills, progressing toward higher belt levels, and participating in belt ceremonies. Several testimonials mention long-term training of multiple years, leadership and demonstration team involvement, and positive experiences with Master Shin, Master Roman, and Master Ahmir. One parent notes that Master Shin and Master Roman led an 11th birthday party at the studio, and other reviewers highlight the instructors as great teachers, outstanding mentors, and professional and quick to respond.
