Wolf Creek Outdoor School offers curriculum-based environmental education programs that include activities such as learning in the meadow, studying fire effects in Elk Prairie, and using dip nets in Prairie Creek during education programs. Park rangers lead education programs at Wolf Creek Outdoor School, and students also participate in campfires at the campfire ring and amphitheater.
Since the early 1970s, Wolf Creek Outdoor School has been providing curriculum-based environmental education programs for local school and out of the area school groups and education related rental groups. The program’s mission statement is “Exploring Nature Through Education.” A video titled “What to Bring to Wolf Creek” features Ranger Falon sharing useful information for teachers, parents, and students who are going to the Wolf Creek Education Center and has a duration of 5 minutes and 5 seconds.
