Starr Gymnastics & Parkour offers gymnastics classes, parkour classes, birthday parties, seasonal camps, and Drop-In Playtime. The program also runs March Break, summer, and Christmas camps, as well as baby playgroups, satellite school workshops and lunch programs, and community events. During Drop-In Playtime, the gym is padded and set up with obstacles and challenges for children and their parents to explore and enjoy.

Starr Gymnastics & Parkour has been operating since 1999 and sees over 25,000 children per year. Its mission is to be a positive, bright, happy, fun and family-oriented community for quality non-competitive gymnastics, with values of Great Exercise, Great People, and Great Fun. The program states that it believes in an engaging approach to physical literacy through positive role models (its Coaches), inclusive programming accessible for all body types, backgrounds and abilities, and open communication and active participation in its community. It states that fitness, and more specifically gymnastics, is a lifestyle and uses the phrase, “It’s not just what we do… It’s WHO WE ARE!”

The facilities are described as colourful and clean, with the gym padded and arranged with obstacles and challenges for families during Drop-In Playtime. The program highlights a rigorous hiring and training process for staff, constant training and development of Coaches and Entertainers, an open-door customer feedback policy, and a focus on engaging, dynamic, memorable and fun programming. Lesson plans are described as designed and refined to keep up with physical literacy standards and fitness trends that positively impact children.
