AYSO Palmdale Region 393

AYSO Palmdale Region 393 offers youth soccer, including the AYSO EPIC program for players with physical or mental disabilities, formerly called VIP. The program is part of the American Youth Soccer Organization, which focuses on youth soccer activities for children.

AYSO Palmdale Region 393 follows the American Youth Soccer Organization mission of providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives. The region is connected to national AYSO leadership, including Michael Karon, President of AYSO. Michael Karon received the Stack Leadership Award from Stack Sports for his impact in the world of sports volunteering. AYSO is described as the nation's leading grassroots soccer program and offers Return to Play Guidance through an AYSO microsite with the latest information on returning to play. The broader AYSO organization is involved in partnerships such as the Chicago Public Schools Partnership to enhance youth sports programming for fifth through eighth grade, a partnership with the US Center for Mental Health & Sport focused on player and volunteer wellness, and a partnership with the Northland Sports Alliance expanding soccer programming in Kansas City.
