Laity Institute of the Arts offers instruction in acting, animation, art, dance, music, piano, and voice. All classes are in person, with some art and music classes available online. The program specializes in direct, meaningful instruction and confidence-building through the visual and performing arts as supplemental education for children after school.

Laity Institute of the Arts is a non-profit private organization founded in 1989. It was founded by Jim and Delayna Goins, a husband-and-wife team. The instructors are professional artists and educators dedicated to teaching the skills that matter. Classes are kept to tight sizes of 5–10 students to allow direct, one-on-one time and focused feedback for every student. The program describes itself as a safe, fun, professional environment where students see clear, measurable improvement and gain a genuine competitive advantage. Laity is a formation institute that develops disciplined, creative students through Truth and Excellence in the arts.
Laity Theatre Company DBA Laity Institute of the Arts began with the founders’ goal of serving Los Angeles area youth through a comprehensive summer theatre workshop, and the program later grew to include adults and became known as a company of professionals who served the community through artistic and educational means. Laity Arts serves public, charter, and private education. Laity is a proud grant recipient. The after-school registration portal is open.
