Foothill Jr Cougars offers tackle football and cheerleading for youth participants. The program includes both football teams and cheer squads as part of its activities.
• Ages: 7–14 years old
Foothill Jr Cougars states that its mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for youth to learn the fundamentals of tackle football and cheerleading, while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical fitness. The mission also states that the program is dedicated to developing the skills and character of its participants, fostering a love for the game, and instilling values that extend beyond the field. It further states that through positive coaching, mentorship, and a commitment to excellence, the program aims to empower its young athletes to reach their full potential, both on and off the field. The program lists several credentials and awards, including 2019 SYF 8U Champions, 2023 8u cheer, 14u Cheer 2023 Champs, 10u Champs, FHS host of the 2022 EAL Championship game, 8u, 10u and 14u in the 2022 EAL Championship game, and AB1 compliant Varsity Cheer.
