Kids’ classes emphasize American Jiu Jitsu, which fuses wrestling and traditional grappling so students train as hybrid grapplers blending wrestling and Jiu Jitsu. All skill levels are welcome in every class.

• Schedule: Kids and Teens no-Gi Jiu Jitsu classes meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with sessions typically 45–60 minutes long and flexible afternoon and evening options on weekdays plus weekend hours.

MatTime opened its doors to the public in the summer of 2016 and has been building stronger, more resilient kids and adults since 2016. The mission at MatTime is to “Build Good, Strong Kids,” with a focus on character-building instruction and traditional American, hard-working values. The academy describes itself as Pro American, God fearing, never woke, and holding America First views, and it is a place where kids and adults put down devices, games, and phones.

Kids & Teens no-Gi Jiu Jitsu classes for ages 5–7 are taught by Jessica Tinker, and classes for ages 8–10+ and 11–15+ are taught by instructors Jim Ivaldi and Maximus Gutkowski. Adult Jiu Jitsu is taught by instructor Mark Kamizaki. The program offers a competitive pathway with potential invitation to the MatTime Competitive Wrestling team.
