Academic Enrichment for Homeschool Families!
SOCO PULSE Program, 209 Dana Street, PETALUMA, CA 94952
About
Hello!
The SOCO PULSE Homeschool Pod is a small, project-based learning community for students in grades 2-5 led by Molly Hill and Melissa Kang, two experienced credentialed teachers with more than 40 years of combined experience. Our goal is to deliver a meaningful academic enrichment program that is Integrated, Interdisciplinary, and Collaborative (we call it IIC) in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Through hands-on projects, field experiences, art, literature, science, and history, students explore big ideas in five immersive learning "arcs" throughout the school year. Our Learning Spaces are just as important as what we learn together and for every offering we find engaging and inspiring spaces.
Our integrated approach helps children develop curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, confidence, and a genuine love of learning—all within a supportive, low-tech environment designed to inspire wonder.
Whether your family joins us for one arc or the entire year, your child will become part of a vibrant community of young learners who ask big questions, create meaningful work, and discover the joy of learning together.
Please see the Homeschoolers tab on our website for more information and a detailed program overview: www.socopulse.org
We are looking to create new weekly learning pods for the upcoming year (Nov-May) in Sonoma County. Please email us if you'd like to be a part of it or if you have any questions: [email protected]
We look forward to learning with you!

SOCO PULSE (Sonoma County Pop-Up Learning Space Edventures) is a local non-profit organization offering educational enrichment programs. We believe that curiosity is the engine of learning. SOCO PULSE brings together small groups of creative, motivated students for hands-on project-based exploration. Students don't just read about the world; they build, create, investigate, and discuss their way through it. We believe children learn best when they are engaged, challenged, and given space to wonder. SOCO PULSE programs are intentionally low-tech and experiential, and academically grounded.
