After School Comics & Cartoons

In this 10 week run of classes, young artists will explore the plethora of techniques and skills used for comic and cartoon creation.

We begin by making characters and looking into the pro tips and tricks of character design.

Participants then continue to build their comic-creation universe, populating it with colorful characters, convincing settings, and tell stories that bring it all to life.

In the telling they will, of course, learn the ins and outs of planning, drafting, pencilling, inking, coloring and editing their own comics.

We'll study how our favorite comics work, what makes them our favorites, and dive into how to make the best possible comics whilst still having the best possible time.
