Artaluma Visual Art and Maker Studio offers visual art and maker activities where participants can paint, work with their hands, and explore other creative projects. The program also includes chances to dance, act, play music, and work with film as part of its offerings for adults and youth.

Artaluma Visual Art and Maker Studio is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire, unleash, and celebrate creativity in everyone. It offers in-person and online classes, workshops, and camps, supported by a uniquely positive, open, and heart-centered community. The studio is led by Elizabeth McKoy, a painter, teaching artist, founder of ARTALUMA, teacher, facilitator, and Artaluma Director, who previously served as the Founding Artistic Director of Berkeley Playhouse. In 2000, Elizabeth McKoy trained with the Lincoln Center Institute in New York in a method called Aesthetic Education.
