Miss Marie started her teaching career with Cobble Hill Ballet in 2008 under the guidance of Colette Linton Meyer. She performed in NYC for 10 years with modern dance companies like Susan Marshall, Wally Cardona, and danscores by Ofelia Loret DeMola. She had the honor of being a US Arts and Culture envoy to the developing country of Kosovo in 2008. Her proudest moments have been in the classroom with a dozen three year olds singing and dancing to classical music. She has taught in the Bay Area with Berkeley Ballet Theatre and Shawl Anderson Dance Center, where she started taking classes herself as a young girl. She worked in the development department of San Francisco Ballet 2014-2015 before moving to the North Bay with her beloved husband and started her family - Sebastian and now baby Juniper. After taking a break from teaching during the pandemic, she is delighted to be starting her very own ballet school with West Hills Ballet, steps from her home in the beautiful space at Hermann Sons Hall. She has a BFA in acting from Purchase College, School of Theatre Arts and Film.
