Cinnabar Theater Young Repertory & Jr. Rep Programs are part of Cinnabar Theater’s season, which includes 4 Young Repertory main stage shows and a Jr. Rep program alongside 5 professional shows. The professional shows in the same season include an eclectic mix of musicals, drama, comedy, and cabaret productions. These youth programs take place while Cinnabar Theater is on the road during the building of a new home at the Petaluma Outlet Mall, with the 53rd season being performed at Sonoma State University.

Cinnabar Theater is celebrating 53 years of theater. Its mission is to present a wide range of performing arts that remain relevant to contemporary life and challenging to professionals and audience members, and to seek and train young talent in the performing arts while helping them make lasting and meaningful connections between performing arts and their daily life. Cinnabar Theater is a professional community theater and a cultural organization performing in Petaluma and Rohnert Park in Sonoma County, and Cinnabar Arts produces intimate and thought-provoking theatrical and musical productions. Through workshops, classes, youth programs, internships, and hands-on training, Cinnabar Theater involves local artists and brings diverse programming and opportunities to Petaluma artists, while also attracting audience spending, creating local jobs and freelance opportunities, supporting local vendors, and adding a steady live-theatre option for residents and visitors.
