About the Teacher:
Maggie Parr began her career at Walt Disney Imagineering, working as a show designer on attractions for Toontown and Animal Kingdom. After leaving Disney to focus on painting, she continued as an independent contractor while expanding into book illustration, murals, portraits, comics, and television writing. She trained in classical painting with artists including Steve Huston, Cheryl Kline, Steven Assael, Jeremy Lipking, and Joseph Q. Daily, later earning an MFA. She now teaches students of all levels while maintaining an active painting practice.
