Intro to Sailing Camp at The Floathouse

The Petaluma River is the perfect place to learn (or recall) how to sail. Mild and building afternoon winds ensure that campers learn to work with the wind and tides in the safe environment of the downtown turning basin, setting them up for further challenges in bigger water. No prior experience necessary.
Intro to Sailing Summer Campers learn the basics of sailing using remote control sailboats, El Toros, a Captain's Gig, and a Lido-14. With small camp sizes (6 max) and expert and experienced coaches and support staff, we make sure that every camper gets full attention and instruction, and is challenged to the extent of their abilities and desire.
Campers are welcome to attend multiple sessions. If they'd like to learn the whole Floathouse fleet, they might also like to enroll in our Small Boat Camp, which runs on alternate weeks, M-F, 9 am-1 pm.
Bring a hearty snack, extra clothes, towel, a water bottle, sunscreen and a hat. Water shoes or other closed-toe shoes are best. Glasses need to be secured with a Croakie or other keeper.

Policies
Full Refund: If we (The Floathouse) must cancel operations due to unsafe or unsuitable weather or conditions (as determined by our qualified staff), you will have your choice of credit, or a full refund of your fee.
Full Refund: If you (the customer) cancel more than 7 full days before your camp, you will receive your choice of a refund or credit.
No Refund: if you (the customer) cancel for any reason, less than 7 full days before your camp, no refund or credit will be given. However, you may substitute another camper, provided they meet any skill, experience or other requirements.
