Luma Littles: an outdoor, play-based class where littles and their grownups learn, connect, and grow together.
Bond Park, 117 Tuxedo Ct, Petaluma CA 94954, Petaluma, CA 94954

Luma Littles is a fun-filled early learning class that creates joyful experiences through play, connection, and exploration. Littles and their caregivers participate in a warm, thoughtfully designed environment where routines, music, literacy, movement, sensory play, and hands-on activities nurture development across all domains, including communication, motor development, cognitive and executive functioning, and social-emotional learning.
Each class follows a familiar rhythm that helps children know what to expect while leaving plenty of room for curiosity, creativity, and child-led exploration. This predictable structure supports engagement, confidence, and regulation, while new stories, songs, sensory experiences, movement activities, manipulatives, and weekly themes keep every session fresh, meaningful, and fun.

Luma Littles is facilitated by Josie Lochrie, M.S., CCC-SLP. As a mom of four young children and a pediatric speech-language pathologist specializing in early intervention, Josie believes some of the most meaningful learning happens through connection, play, and everyday moments. Her patient, kind, and lighthearted approach helps children and caregivers alike feel welcome, supported, and connected. While Luma Littles is not a therapy program, Josie's professional expertise thoughtfully guides and curates a high-quality enrichment program, creating joyful, developmentally rich experiences grounded in both evidence and genuine care.
