This fall we are offering sweet and magical Wednesday morning playgroup series for caregivers and their children. All ages welcome! A parent / caregiver is required to stay for this toddler-friendly play session, with facilitation designed to witness and support the caregiver/parents’ learning processes, inquiries and capabilities. We will invite parents to join us in land stewardship tasks and end with a talk circle and a provided snack.
Sample Schedule:
9:30 Arrivals, Hello song, explore the garden and play yard, walk to chickens and Grandmother Oak
11:00 Snack and talk circle
12:00 Goodbye song
Playgroup Agreements:
- Sunbeam facilitator(s) provide an intentional, maintained space to play with age-appropriate and open-ended play and creative materials.
- Parents bring water bottle and weather-appropriate layers / sunscreen etc.
- Parents are present and responsible for supervision of their child(ren) and helping to maintain safe interactions. Please no phone usage.
- Sunbeam facilitator(s) provide a brief circle time with snack in which they ask parents to engage in noticing and reflecting.
- Parents help to return the space(s) to the conditions in which they found it and depart the space at the closing time.

Cancellation PolicyI understand that camp/class fees are due at registration to hold my child's spot. Enrollment in Sunbeam camps and classes is complete when fees are paid. Camp and class fees are nonrefundable. Sunbeam may issue credits for a future camp or class, minus a $40 administrative fee and service fees. Requests for credit must be made in writing at least two weeks in advance of the camp start date; please include explanation.
