What: Sandcastle Summer Drama Camp guides kids in learning about the theater-making process through games and activities. Each week-long session explores a different theatrical theme, with a focus on building creativity, collaboration, and confidence.

Who: Petaluma-area kids, ages 5-11

Recommended: entering 1st-6th grade
Program lead by Sandcastle Theater Company's professional teaching artists
Approx. 16 students per weekly session (1:8 student/staff ratio)
Special Guests Artists, to be announced!

When: Mondays - Fridays, 9am - 3pm (*closed July 4-5)

Week 1 July 1 - 3* — Drama Games / Improv

Week 2 July 8 - 12 — Design (Costume focus)

Week 3 July 15 - 19 — Design (Scenery focus)

Week 4 July 22 - 26 — Storytelling / Playwriting

Week 5 July 29 - Aug 2 — Acting / Performance

Final Presentations: Families and invited guests join us for an "open house" 2pm on last day of each weekly session

Cancellation Policy (Summer Sessions)Cancellation requests must be made in writing via sandcastletheaterco@gmail.com.

30 or more days prior to program start: Eligible for full refund, minus $50 Cancellation Fee.

7 days - 29 days prior to program start: Eligible for 50% refund.

Less than 7 days prior to program start: Refunds processed on a case-by-case basis (illness, family emergency, certain extenuating circumstances).

Flexible Pricing ProgramIf cost is a barrier to participation, please contact us at sandcastletheaterco@gmail.com to arrange for a partial fee waiver. No parent work or volunteer hours required.
