Summer Session Ballet and Modern

West Hills Ballet is a blossoming dance school inspired by Marie Morrow’s career performing modern dance in New York City and teaching Royal Academy of Dance Ballet in Brooklyn for 15+ years. The philosophy of Marie's teaching is focused on creativity and artistic exploration to music, getting to know oneself better, and moving in community while still learning proper alignment and strong technique. It is our goal to prioritize joy over competition. Humans have danced together since before the development of language and WHB’s mission is to bring the experience of movement to daily life practice, reveling in our own unique artistic voice.

Summer Session combines our regular levels used in the season - classtime is about introducing movement styles, fun music, and keeping up with technique that was built during the year for older dancers.
