Games are one of today’s most dynamic creative mediums, blending storytelling, systems thinking, and player experience. In this hands-on workshop, participants will step into the role of a game designer—learning how rules, mechanics, and narrative work together to shape meaningful play. Through guided exercises, you’ll explore player-centered design, discover how rules themselves can become a form of artistic expression, and experiment with rapid prototyping techniques. By the end of the session, you’ll have designed and play-tested your own original tabletop game using simple materials, gaining practical tools for turning ideas into engaging interactive experiences.

This workshop is located in the classroom.
