Pico Rivera Pony Baseball offers baseball and T-ball for children at different experience levels. The program includes beginner T-ball (Shetland) as well as opportunities for more experienced players.

• Ages: 4–14 years old

Pico Rivera Pony Baseball is a community-based, family-oriented league dedicated to serving boys and girls ages 4 to 14. The league focuses on creating a positive, supportive environment where kids can learn and grow both on and off the field, with an emphasis on player development, teamwork, and sportsmanship at every level. It serves players from beginner T-ballers (Shetland) to more experienced players, and describes its coaches and volunteers as committed to helping each child build confidence, improve skills, and have fun while fostering a lifelong love for the game. The league describes itself as a close-knit community where families come together to cheer, support, and celebrate each child’s journey in baseball.

The leadership team includes President Arnaldo Garcia, Vice President Frank Cortez, Secretary Betty Arias, Treasurer Dianna Foster, Director of Baseball Operations Drew Jimenez, Head Team Mom Nancy Jimenez, Pony Commissioner Arnaldo Garcia, Field Commissioner Jr Gutierrez, Player Agents Steven Roman, Eddie Perez, Antonio Romero, and Joseph Lightner, Social Media Coordinator Vanessa Esparza, and Concession Coordinator Suzy Cortez.

All volunteers must complete yearly training related to California Assembly Bill 506 on child abuse and neglect prevention, Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training, the U.S. Senate Bill 534 Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Abuse and Safe Sport Authorization Act of 2017, USA Baseball Abuse Awareness Training, California Assembly Bill 379 on concussion and sudden cardiac arrest prevention protocols, Concussion Training and Certification, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training and Certification.
